What is a manual check-in?
A manual check-in is an action that will send your up-to-date location to the system with respect to your privacy settings.
If a web portal administrator has scheduled check-ins for you on a certain day and time, you will get a push notification reminding you to check in and send your location. The first reminder will be sent at the start of the check-in time window, giving you some time before the deadline to perform the action. Additional reminders will be sent every two hours at a total of four times if the check-in has not been performed. Click here to learn more.
1. Click the house icon in the bottom navigation bar
Open the app and navigate to the landing page by clicking the house icon.
2. Click the check-in button
Located at the top-right of the home page, you will find the check-in button. When clicking it, you will send your up-to-date location to the system with respect to your privacy settings.
If you press the check-in button without internet access, the app will ask if you wish to “Try using SMS” to send your location.
