Max Security integration

Overview

MAX Security is a leading player in comprehensive security and risk management solutions. MAX Security gives insights with real-time information, tactical monitoring, and actionable recommendations.

MAX Security methodology

MAX Security’s methodology for assessing risk level is based on the combination of the type of event (threat), the likelihood for it to occur (probability) and the actual effect on ground (physical harm and travel & operational disruption).

When assessing risk, MAX Security considers three main factors: asset value, threat, and probability. It means that MAX focus is on determining the impact of a threat on a particular asset, the likelihood of travel disruptions, and an overall impact on travelers’ plans and business continuity.

Alert risk levels

MAX’s methodology for assessing risk level is based on the combination of the type of event, the likelihood for it to occur, and the actual effect on the ground. Once the level of each component is determined, all criteria are combined to establish the event’s risk level. They consist of four Risk Levels: Low, Medium, High, and Extreme. In general, each risk level has the following characteristics:

Risk LevelPhysical HarmTravel & Operational DisruptionAdvise
LOW No substantial risk of physical harmLow likelihood of travel/operational disruptionsTravel may continue as planned
MEDIUMSome risk of physical harmMedium likelihood of travel/operational disruptionsTravellers are advised to maintain heightened vigilance
HIGHSubstantial potential of physical harm to travellersHigh likelihood of travel/operational disruptionsConsider avoiding nonessential travel to the area
EXTREMEAlmost certain of physical harmCertain travel/operational disruptionsConsider avoiding all travel to the area

We have mapped MAX’s default risk levels from four to three in the platform, according to the following structure:
