Define content in pre-trip notification based on home region
A new parameterized pre-trip email logic has been developed to handle increased requirements of sending pre-trip information to travelers based on certain conditions. Before this was developed, the platform could only handle risk-based pre-trip emails, i.e. sending a certain email template based on the risk level of the destination.
This update enables organizations to define the content the traveler receives based on their home region – meaning that US based travelers will receive different pre-trip notifications than European travelers etc. Allowing organizations to meet the differing duty of care requirements in a concise and efficient way.
In addition, the Pre-Trip notification can also be configured to not send Pre-Trip notifications to travelers based on the destination country. The new configuration options are in addition to the existing options which include timescales for sending, risk level of destination and corporate co-branding.
Previous functionality includes custom scheduling of when the email should be sent, and the new functionality still supports this. Additionally, the platform supports blacklisting email send outs to countries, to make sure destinations can be omitted from send outs for companies.
