Introduction to the web portal

This video gives you an overview of the different functions as an admin in the web portal.

The dashboard

The portal is divided into seven subsections or apps as we call them.

The first one we’ll take a look at is what we call the dashboard where you’ll find important and instant information on key facts for your organization’s travel.

To the top left corner, you can see emergency sent in by employees through the  Safeture app.  Below that, some other interesting data on your traveling workforce and travelers and risk zones will show you travelers you might have near a recently occurred incidents published by the Safeture system.

Below, any relevant high-risk travel bookings will be shown.

Communication and information are also available, and to the right corner, incident reports for the last 24 hours based on the selected regions that you have decided upon.

Below that, there is some key information on your general subscription, and through the subscribe to email functionality, you can subscribe to a daily email that will send you selected parts of this information via email.

Security overview

The next application we’re going to look at is the security overview. This application, which is map-based, gives you a graphical overview of your traveling employees. It also allows you to Geo-fence communication, review logs on travel and interface and other useful functionality.

The map on the security overview application shows you the general threat level of the different regions of the world. It also shows your traveling workforce blue indicates exact phone tracking, gray country positioning, green airport travel book based positioning, and the red icons will show you signal emergencies that yet has not been handled. You can also use the map to geofence communication if you want to send an SMS, email, or start a chat group with a certain group in a certain area, just use the zoom to select the group and select message group.

Another functionality worth mentioning is the important log, which shows you data on everything from travel to communication for your organization incident feeds where you can customize your particular incident feed and also a list view of all your personnel.

Content management application

The third application, the content management application, allows you to access information on all parts of the world through different country profiles. On these profiles, you’ll find information on security issues passport and visa medical and other topics. This section also allows stakeholders to customize the different country profiles for their employees, adding your organization’s information to the application.

The content management application is rather straightforward here. You’ll find good and important information on all countries and regions of the world. By selecting a country such as Afghanistan you can then review and go through different information for that particular region. Everything from safety and security information to medical information and passports and visa. The blue edit button allows a stakeholder at your organization to customize the information in the application, so if you, for example, want to add preferred hotels or preferred taxi companies in a specific city or country, you can do so by simply editing through these two.

Medical application

Similar to the content management app the medical application provides stakeholders and travelers with useful information. This is a medical database on which you can find information on common conditions and diseases, everything from symptoms to prevention and treatment, as well as information on common medications that these particular medications may be called in different languages and what potential side effects they may have.

Travel booking application

If you integrate the portal with your TMC on the travel booking application, you can review all trips made by your employees, locate high-risk bookings and find other useful information on travel bookings made by your organization.

In addition to phone tracking through the Safeture application, the Safeture platform also offers travel booking tracking. This is done by Safeture integrating with your TMC streaming the travel data into the platform. You can view the travel data on the security overview map as well. Still, this application, the travel booking application is specially designed for you to manage the travel booking data.

Here you can see upcoming trips for your organization, and you will also have high-risk bookings indicated. Through the important user management application, you can manage your admins your end-users travelers and also create groups and hierarchies, among other things.

User management

The Safeture platform in general and the Safeture portal, in particular, is designed to be flexible so we can meet the requirements of your particular organization.  Through the user management application, you can create groups and hierarchies for your organization you can also create administrators and set different permissions and rights for those administrators the user management app also is a convenient way to manage all your travelers and users

Custom alerts

Last but not least, we have a custom alerts application through this application your organization can publish your own information messages alerts, push notifications through the application. You can also filter information provided by the Safeture system to make sure that the information that goes through to your travelers and employees is tailor-made for your organization. An information message alert or warning from scratch and sent to your employees simply used to create an edit tab you can unselect if that should be sent to people in a particular region or area or a particular group.
