Add contacts

This guide is written for Administrators.

What is a contact?

For employees that should be added to the platform, but does not need access to the Safeture app, an option is to add them as a contact. Contacts can be added manually via the Safeture web portal or via HR-sync, and can also be connected to facilities.

Click on 'Users' in the web portal menu

Choose your method of import

There are two different ways to import users. Select the option that is most suitable for your situation, and follow its instructions.

Method 1: Manual import

If you wish to add contacts one-by-one, please follow these instructions.

Recommended when adding only a few contacts.

Method 2: Spreadsheet import

If you wish to import multiple contacts at the same time, please follow these instructions.

Recommended when adding many contacts.

Method 3: HR-sync

HR-sync that has been set-up between Safeture and your organization. If this is your choice of method, you do not need to take any further action. Please contact if you have any questions.

Invite users

To add contacts one-by-one, click “Add Contact”.

Fill in the information on the contact

Please fill in the fields on the image below. We recommend firstname, surname, email and phone number.

Fill in address-related fields

Fill in the address related fields displayed in the image. 

Fill in the remaining contact information

What are tags?

Tags let you filter your people and target your communication to the right group in an instant. You can add multiple tags to the same contact.

Spreadsheet import

Spreadsheet import

To import multiple contacts at the same time, click “Import from spreadsheet”.

Download and fill in the spreadsheet template

Download the spreadsheet template either as an Excel file or Google Sheets.

After downloading the template:

  1. Fill in the information about your contact(s) in the spreadsheet.
  2. Highlight all rows and columns and copy the content.

Paste spreadsheet information

Paste all rows and columns including the field from the spreadsheet here.

Final edits & add

If you wish, make any final edits and add the listed contacts. Confirm and potentially correct any errors from the import and click “Add contacts”.
